About

My name is Tom McTurk. I am a climber, route setter and coach based in London with over 10 years of climbing experience. From competing as a youth climber to route setting across London, training and improvement has always been a huge part of my climbing. 

I believe that consistent and targeted training, whether focused on technique or strength, has always been the best way to see progress on the wall. This idea forms the foundation of my training plans. We will start by setting personal goals and assessing strengths and weaknesses. Then with this, create a program which is tailored to you specifically, prioritising weaknesses which are slowing your climbing progression. The plan will take into account how much time you have available to train over the 4, 8 or 12 weeks so that it is attainable for you around other commitments.
